Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You will engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies, ensuring that the software you develop is scalable and performs efficiently. Your work will focus on addressing unique business requirements through innovative approaches and continuous enhancement of existing systems to meet evolving needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build and deployment processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and Azure-based technologies.
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications clearly and accurately.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (preferably .NET Core / .NET 6 or above)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and serverless architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar tools)
- Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and dependency injection
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Analytics Services.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience in developing scalable and maintainable code using modern development practices.
- Familiarity with database design and integration within software applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance effectively.

Good To Have Skills:
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest)
- Exposure to modern DevOps practices and cloud security principles

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
