Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working within dynamic project environments, applying modern development frameworks, and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and continuous improvement of software performance are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software quality and delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
- Experience in data integration and ETL monitoring.
- Knowledge of CFIN/SAP Finance.
- Understanding of FP&A planning cycles.
- Understanding of staging query logic.
- Manage the day-to-day health and periodic maintenance of the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning environment.
- Monitor data integration runs and import/export jobs for failures or anomalies.
- Track planning model performance and overall system health.
- Oversee operational and calendar workflows, including submission deadlines and data lock windows.
- Monitor user activity to ensure planning actions are occurring on schedule.
- Create and schedule data load jobs for each monthly and quarterly planning cycle.
- Maintain and update planning upload forms in SAC.
- Update CFIN-to-SAC staging query filters to reflect the current period, entity, and version scope ahead of each planning cycle kick-off.
- Support and monitor SAC Planning models, data integration processes, and ETL activities.
- Work with CFIN/SAP Finance data and planning processes.
- Apply knowledge of FP&A planning cycles and staging query logic to support planning operations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
