Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while overseeing the implementation process to deliver high-quality software products. The role also includes troubleshooting challenges that arise during development and ensuring smooth integration with existing systems, fostering collaboration across teams to achieve project goals efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to optimize team productivity and software performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and master data management processes.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Master Data Governance solutions to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex data structures and design scalable data models within the SAP MDG framework.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP MDG and other enterprise systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to master data quality and system performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
