About the Role & Team
We are looking for an experienced, collaborative and inspiring Creative Manager to join our Creative organisation within Disney’s unified marketing function.

Combining creative leadership with hands-on design expertise, you will establish the initial creative vision and guardrails for projects, guide designers through delivery and maintain oversight of quality from concept through to completion. You will work closely with stakeholders to turn their needs into clear, actionable briefs while ensuring the final creative is thoughtful, engaging and true to our brands.
You will also play an important role in supporting and developing the team, which includes two Senior Designers, helping to create an environment where people can share ideas, experiment and do their best creative work.
If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Creative Manager.
This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office four days a week, with either Monday or Friday working from home.
You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values, acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.
What You Will Do
Set the creative direction for a wide variety of briefs, creating compelling visual storytelling tailored to the audience, purpose and relevant Disney brand.
Develop initial design visions and establish clear creative guardrails, supporting the wider design team to bring concepts to life while maintaining appropriate oversight throughout delivery.

Originate event branding from initial inspiration and concepts through to invitations, sales materials, venue look and feel and final print-ready artwork.
Partner with the Senior Creative Manager to translate stakeholder requests into clear, actionable briefs aligned with departmental objectives, owning the creative process from concept through to completion.
Build an effective understanding of different lines of business, ensuring creative work reflects the relevant brand identity, audience and commercial context.
Present creative work and rationale to stakeholders with confidence and engaging storytelling, providing practical, solutions-focused advice when creative or technical challenges arise.
Support an open and collaborative creative culture through brainstorms, shared project delivery, inspiration, tutorials and resources, helping the team continually develop its skills and knowledge.
Understand the tools, techniques and processes required to deliver projects effectively, recommending appropriate solutions to technical and creative challenges.
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and constructive feedback to designers, supporting their development and enabling them to deliver high-quality creative work.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience using Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Significant experience as an Art Director, Design Director or senior creative, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling across presentations, marketing collateral, brand experiences and events.
Expert knowledge of typography, colour, composition, visual hierarchy and messaging, alongside consistently strong attention to detail.
The ability to establish an initial creative vision and clear guardrails while remaining hands-on and supporting others through delivery.
Experience leading, mentoring and developing designers, including providing clear, thoughtful and constructive feedback.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to articulate creative thinking and design rationale to a range of stakeholders.
The ability to understand stakeholder needs, translate them into actionable creative briefs and guide projects from initial concept through to completion.
A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the judgement to navigate creative and technical challenges effectively.
