The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach a course in winter 2027. Please complete the online application form and upload the required documents. ANTH 308 – Political Anthropology 01
The study of political systems and political processes. Conflict and its resolution. The emphasis of the course will be on local-level politics and non-industrial societies.
January 5 - April 14, 2027: Wednesday & Friday (4:05 - 5:25 pm)

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: MA required; Priority to holders of Ph.Ds with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.
Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with relevant field research background and experience in teaching political anthropology
This course will be taught by one instructor in-person.
