 About the role

Our new Copywriter will be an important connection point between Brand Marketing, New Product Development and Campaign, supporting the Head of Copy in the creation of powerful, ownable, and irresistible storytelling.  

This talented, creative and highly organised individual will help shape product marketing copy at every stage of development, from product concept to product naming and packaging copy, and through legal clearance to global marketing kits. This is a high-visibility role, providing the unique opportunity to collaborate with global and regional stakeholders across the business. 

As our Copywriter you will

• Work closely with the Head of Copy and Copy Director to bring Charlotte’s brand voice and vision to life through compelling storytelling 
• Deliver engaging copy across a full product lifecycle, from early-stage concept through to global launch, including
  - Product and ingredient naming, positioning and story ideation 
  - Packaging copy development 
  - Short- and long-form marketing copy, including copy toolkits 
  - Visual merchandising for stores and experiential pop-ups  
  - Local market activation materials e.g. bounce-back cards and in-store offers 
  - Third party retailer support materials 
• Opportunity to support on global campaigns e.g. taglines, storyboards etc.  
• Support video and performance marketing content, including PM ad scripting and hook ideation 
• Partner cross-functionally on ad hoc requests from Creative Studio, Digital, Education and Travel Retail teams

About You

• Strong copywriting skills, with proven experience crafting compelling brand and campaign copy  
• Experience within beauty or fashion is an advantage, however we welcome candidates from all industries 
• A meticulous eye for detail, with experience proofreading copy across global VM, store design and infographics 
• Knowledge of beauty industry regulations is beneficial 
• A sound understanding of the Charlotte Tilbury brand, voice and aesthetic 
• Commercial and cultural awareness across competitors, influencers and the global beauty landscape  
• Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent communication skills, with an articulate manner 
• Great relationship-building skills, with the confidence to network at all levels 
• Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com
