The Clinical Program Coordinator RN is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of designated specialty clinical programs within an assigned region while supporting alignment with system level standards and strategic priorities across the care continuum. This role promotes high quality, evidence-based patient care through program development, regulatory readiness, performance improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Clinical Program Coordinator partners with physicians, nursing leadership, operational leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to support program initiatives that advance clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness. Responsibilities include coordinating education, monitoring quality metrics, supporting accreditation and regulatory requirements, and facilitating data driven improvement efforts for specialty clinical programs such as stroke, trauma, burn, or other designated service lines. The Clinical Program Coordinator works collaboratively with regional and system leadership to ensure consistency in program standards while addressing the unique operational needs of the assigned region. This role supports the ongoing success and sustainability of clinical programs by promoting best practices, coordinating program activities, and contributing to enterprise-wide performance improvement initiatives.

Job Duties

• Supports regulatory and accreditation readiness for specialty programs by ensuring compliance with applicable standards from governing bodies and regulatory agencies. Supports preparation for internal and external audits, site visits, and accreditation reviews related to specialty clinical programs.
• Coordinates program related performance improvement activities including identification of opportunities for improvement, implementation of evidence-based practices, and monitoring of outcomes. Monitors program performance indicators and works with leadership to develop action plans that improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Collects, analyzes, and maintains clinical program data to support quality improvement, regulatory reporting, and organizational performance metrics. Prepares reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate program performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives to leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary program meetings, case reviews, and quality committees to support collaboration and program oversight.
• Coordinates education and training initiatives related to program standards, clinical guidelines, and best practices for staff across the care continuum.
• Participates in the development, review, and maintenance of program related policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and supports the dissemination of clinical guidelines and program standards across participating sites.
• Serves as a resource to staff and leadership regarding program requirements, clinical guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a specialty area relevant to the program being coordinated (e.g., stroke, trauma, burn, or other designated service line).
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques, ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Uses the language of partnership with patients and families, engaging them in their health and health care.
• Knowledge of how to convey respect and collaborate with each patient, family and/or designated care partner in care.
• Knowledge of people with diverse backgrounds and the ability to convey respect and connect effectively.
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_NJ - State of New Jersey

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
• Experience with specialty program standards, accreditation requirements, and quality improvement initiatives preferred.

Additional Qualifications

• Active RN license required in state of practice.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

Salary Range

$82,243.29 to $117,197.17 Annual

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.

Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent)), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.)
