Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics planning activities supporting theater sustainment, deployment, distribution, and mission support operations.

  • Develop Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency (PACE) logistics plans supporting personnel, equipment, and sustainment movement.

  • Analyze operational environments to identify logistics vulnerabilities, transportation constraints, infrastructure limitations, and supply chain risks.

  • Coordinate with transportation planners, movement control teams, supply chain managers, engineers, and operational planners to synchronize sustainment operations.

  • Support Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI), theater opening, and Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC) planning activities.

  • Develop logistics estimates, sustainment annexes, route analyses, operational assessments, and executive-level briefing materials.

  • Support operational planning conferences, contingency planning events, tabletop exercises, and mission rehearsals.

  • Coordinate logistics support for humanitarian assistance, disaster response, crisis action, and emergent operations.

  • Integrate commercial logistics capabilities, host nation support, coalition resources, and non-standard logistics solutions into operational planning.

  • Maintain logistics planning documentation, knowledge management repositories, operational databases, and planning products.

  • Ensure logistics plans comply with Joint doctrine, Combatant Command guidance, Government regulations, and contractual requirements.

  • Promote continuous process improvement supporting logistics resilience, adaptive sustainment, and operational readiness.

  • Support rapidly changing operational requirements requiring agile planning and responsive logistics solutions.

  • Foster collaboration across Joint, interagency, coalition, and commercial organizations to strengthen theater sustainment capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting logistics planning, supply chain management, operational logistics, transportation planning, deployment planning, or theater sustainment for Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience supporting logistics planning, contingency operations, deployment planning, or sustainment activities.

  • Experience developing logistics plans, operational assessments, movement plans, or sustainment documentation.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional logistics activities involving transportation, supply chain management, warehousing, or operational support.

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare logistics reports, planning products, and operational briefings supporting Government leadership.

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Military Science, Transportation Management, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCPAC, Geographic Combatant Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), Joint Task Forces, or Service Component headquarters.

  • Experience supporting Indo-Pacific operations, contested logistics, multidomain operations, expeditionary sustainment, theater distribution, or security cooperation activities.

  • Experience utilizing GCCS-J, JOPES, GCSS-Army, GCSS-MC, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ArcGIS, SmarTrack, TAPID, ATLAS, and logistics planning and asset visibility systems.
