Position Overview

Deposco is seeking a dynamic Content Engineer with Strategic Content Leadership to transform our content operations from ad-hoc creation to a scalable, system-driven powerhouse. This hybrid role combines technical content engineering expertise with strategic content leadership, focusing on architecting robust content systems while driving our marketing narrative forward.

You'll be the architect behind our content infrastructure, designing and implementing scalable workflows that enable efficient content creation, management, and reuse across all digital channels. Beyond the technical foundation, you'll guide our content strategy, ensuring our systems support Deposco's marketing goals and brand voice while delivering quality at speed.

Key Responsibilities

Content System Design and Implementation

• Architect, implement, and optimize content workflows using content management systems (CMS) and related technologies

• Structure and organize content for seamless management across web, email, social, and other platforms

• Lead the strategic transition from manual content production to scalable, system-driven processes that support business growth

Content Modeling & Metadata Management

• Develop and maintain sophisticated content models that align with business needs, marketing objectives, and platform requirements

• Create comprehensive metadata frameworks and taxonomy systems that enhance content discovery, organization, and contextual relevance

• Ensure content architecture supports both current needs and future scalability
  

Content Reuse and Scalability Engineering

• Design innovative systems and templates enabling consistent content reuse and repurposing across multiple digital channels, campaigns, and audience segments

• Build modular content frameworks for lead-generation programs, web copy, email campaigns, SEO and AI search content, and social media content

• Create scalable solutions that maintain content quality while reducing production time

Strategic Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the critical bridge between marketing, product owners, customer success, and leadership, ensuring alignment between content structure and business objectives

• Provide expert guidance on content platform capabilities and constraints to support marketing initiatives, sales enablement, partner collaboration, and event promotions

• Drive cross-team collaboration to optimize content effectiveness

AI-Powered Content Development & Velocity Optimization

• Design and implement AI-driven content development strategies to dramatically increase content production velocity while maintaining quality standards

• Develop workflows integrating AI tools for content ideation, drafting, optimization, and personalization across multiple content formats and channels

• Create scalable AI-assisted processes for blog articles, social media content, email campaigns, and technical documentation that align with brand voice and messaging

• Establish quality control frameworks ensuring AI-generated content meets Deposco's standards while maximizing production efficiency

• Stay current with emerging AI content technologies and evaluate new tools for strategic implementation

Content Analysis & Performance Optimization

• Implement advanced tools and methodologies for analyzing content performance, including user behavior analytics, SEO metrics, and engagement tracking

• Transform data insights into actionable improvements for content models, metadata strategies, and distribution approaches

• Drive continuous optimization for maximum efficiency and marketing impact

Technical Problem-Solving & Process Innovation

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues affecting content creation, management, or delivery systems

• Continuously evaluate and enhance content systems, workflows, and tools to improve reliability and user experience

• Champion innovation in content technology and processes

Content Strategy & Governance Leadership

• Lead comprehensive content strategy and planning initiatives, ensuring systems support Deposco's marketing messages, business goals, and brand voice

• Establish industry-leading best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for structured content, metadata, and workflows

• Drive strategic content decisions that align with company objectives

Quality Assurance & Content Integrity

• Design and implement automated and human-review systems ensuring all content meets Deposco's standards for accuracy, brand consistency, and tone

• Optimize proofreading and review workflows to maximize consistency across all content types and channels

• Maintain the highest standards of content quality and brand integrity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, content management systems, or technical content roles

• Proven expertise with CMS platforms, content workflows, and digital marketing technologies

• Strong understanding of SEO, content analytics, and performance measurement

• Experience with metadata management, taxonomy development, and content modeling

• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B SaaS or supply chain technology environments

• Background in both technical and creative content disciplines

• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and lead generation systems

• Experience with content governance and process optimization

• Understanding of modern web technologies and content delivery systems
