About the role

As Consumer, Shopper & Market Insights Lead – Femcare, you will turn consumer, shopper, and market understanding into strategic business impact. Acting as the voice of the consumer, you will uncover growth opportunities, influence innovation and commercial strategies, and enable data-driven decision-making across the EMEA region. You will partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to global Femcare initiatives, helping shape the future of the category through actionable insights and market expertise.

What you will do

• Develop deep consumer, shopper, market, and category insights, acting as the organization’s expert on consumer and shopper behavior
• Identify unmet consumer needs, whitespace opportunities, and growth areas to strengthen the innovation pipeline
• Generate actionable insights, ideas, and concepts from consumer, shopper, and market analyses to support strategic and innovation initiatives
• Monitor, interpret, and share consumer, shopper, and market trends to enable data-driven decision-making
• Select and execute appropriate research methodologies, ensuring high-quality insights and business relevance
• Manage syndicated and market data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar), conducting analyses on market share, penetration, pricing, distribution, and business risks/opportunities
• Support pricing and promotion strategies through robust data analysis, while influencing business decisions through compelling storytelling and actionable recommendations
• Build a robust approach to category growth forecasting from the ground up, creating credible projections that guide long-term business decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team by providing clear direction, feedback, and capability-building support

Who you are

• 10+ years of experience in Consumer & Customer Insights, including hands-on expertise with syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, or comparable databases
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex consumer, shopper, customer, market, and category data into actionable business recommendations
• Proven experience developing research strategies, annual insight plans, and long-term market understanding frameworks aligned with business and innovation objectives
• Deep knowledge of research methodologies, competitive analysis, pricing, sales dynamics, and go-to-market effectiveness evaluation
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, confidently representing the voice of the consumer and driving insight-led decision-making across functions and senior leadership levels
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing external partners and budgets, balancing multiple priorities, developing talent, and building strong collaboration across local, regional, and global teams

More about the position

This position is based in Munich, Germany, or alternatively in Saint Ouen, France, Didsbury, UK or Zeist, Netherlands or any other relevant global office. 

You will be reporting to Vania Rodriguez,  Consumer, Shopper & Market Senior Insights Manager Feminine Care.
