Role Summary
The Consultant supports day-to-day operational activities, client deliverables, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily operational and reporting activities within established deadlines.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions, breaks, and client inquiries.
- Prepare and distribute client reports and management information.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain process documentation and operating procedures.
- Participate in project, testing, and migration activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Banking domain, financial reporting, operations, or related functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Data Management & Analysis
- Analyze positions, transactions, security reference data, and client datasets.
- Investigate data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Validate inbound and outbound data feeds across multiple platforms.
- Leverage SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and reporting tools to support reporting requirements.
- Support strategic reporting initiatives and dashboard development.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of hedge funds, fund administration, financial products, or reporting.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, SSRS, or other reporting tools.
- Exposure to automation and process optimization initiatives.
- Analytical Skills
- Act as a functional SME for Information Delivery processes and tools.
- Provide guidance and training to team members.
- Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities.
