Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working across community mental health teams (CMHT) and inpatient settings, delivering specialist psychiatric care to adult patients. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and overseeing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality mental health services. The postholder will also participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and maintain documentation in line with NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Extensive experience in adult psychiatry, including CMHT and inpatient care
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• A commitment to delivering patient-centred care
