Mercer’s Career Consulting Team is seeking a Compensation Consultant (Senior Associate).

 

This role will be based in Montreal, and it is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

 

We will count on you to:

 

• Lead research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, and best practices in talent management.
• Leverage Marsh data, solutions, methodologies, and network of experts to solve problems and develop solutions that help address clients’ needs and advance their workforce and rewards objectives and programs
• Develop workforce rewards programs including salary structures, incentive programs, job evaluation systems, pay equity and transparency programs, skills frameworks, job architectures, etc.
• Prepare client presentations, including recommendations presented to executives, senior management, and HR leaders
• Support Principals and Partners in business development efforts, contributing to proposals as required
• Contribute to internal practice development initiatives including the development of new solutions, intellectual capital, training and development efforts, etc.

 

What you need to have:

 

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

• Bilingualism in both English & French

• Experience in management consulting, total rewards, compensation, finance, human resources or accounting preferred
• Experience in project management, data analysis, financial modeling and presentation design preferred
• Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a solid background in Excel.
• Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity, seeking opportunities to develop new skills.

 

 

What makes you stand out:

 

• BComm, HBA/MBA, MIR or related degrees, e.g., finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, human resources (HR) and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience preferred.
