Our Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) department is growing and we are looking for a Communication & Dissemination Specialist for Research Proposals & Projects, to join our RDI’s Innovation Funding & Ecosystem Development (IFED) team.
What will you be bringing to the team?
In this role, you will manage and execute the dissemination and communication activities for our EU proposals and funded projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, Digital Europe), and the broader communication needs of our innovation department. You will be expected to actively build and maintain AI-assisted workflows that make communication and content creation faster, smarter, and more scalable.
The successful candidate may be required to travel occasionally for consortium meetings or other events across Greece and Europe.
More specifically, for the Communication & Dissemination Specialist for Research Proposals & Projects position, we expect you to:
Dissemination & Communication Activities for Proposals & EU-Funded Projects
- Contribute to the writing and review of dissemination, communication, and exploitation sections in EU funding proposals.
- Lead communication and dissemination activities across EU-funded projects, incl. WP/Task Leader roles, representing the company in consortium meetings (online or across Europe).
- Set up, manage, and update project websites, social media channels, and email newsletters.
- Produce and edit high-quality written and multimedia content (deliverables, press releases, reports, articles, blog posts, success stories, social media posts, email newsletters, videos), adapted to each project's objectives, target audiences, expected impact, and branding.
- Define, track, and report on KPIs for communication activities, using analytics platforms to provide actionable insights and continuously improve engagement and reach.
- Make project results accessible and meaningful, facilitating knowledge-sharing with internal teams, project partners, and external stakeholders across a variety of media formats.
- Coordinate project partners and internal teams (PMs, Corporate Comms), to maximize dissemination reach.
Internal Communication Activities
- Manage the content pipeline for the Innovation Department's digital channels (website, LinkedIn, newsletter, and annual report), drawing from funded projects milestones and results, as well as the department’s broader initiatives.
- Monitor channel performance and audience engagement, adapting the content strategy based on data and trends.
- Represent the department at conferences/events, preparing supporting materials as necessary (presentations, one-pagers, etc.).
Requirements
Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have:
- MSc in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in communication and dissemination activities for EU-funded projects, as WP/Task leader. Experience in exploitation activities is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in English (written & verbal), effectively translating complex ideas into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and channels.
- Proficiency with design and multimedia tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite), social media management platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Comfortable using AI tools and adopting AI-driven workflows to improve efficiency and productivity relating to aspects of this role (e.g. for accelerated drafting, editing and scheduling of text/audiovisual content, compliance checks, reporting, and project tracking).
- Proactive and highly organized, able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects independently.
- Analytical & Systems Thinking with strong attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and ability to design and improve processes.
- Agile and adaptable, eager to learn and take on new challenges.
- Confident communicator and comfortable presenting and engaging with diverse audiences.
- Collaborative team player with a knowledge-sharing mindset.
