In this role, you will help drive the execution of real estate loans from initial application through closing and funding, supporting a process that depends on accuracy, responsiveness, and strong coordination across multiple parties. This position plays an important part in keeping transactions moving efficiently while helping borrowers, brokers, and internal stakeholders stay aligned throughout the loan lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage real estate loans from application through closing and funding.
- Collect and review borrower and property documents.
- Coordinate title, appraisal, insurance, and attorneys.
- Track conditions and prepare files for underwriting.
- Communicate with borrowers and brokers.
- Clear closing conditions and ensure loans close efficiently and accurately.
Requirements
Must-have experience:
- Prior experience processing hard money, private lending, bridge, DSCR, or commercial real estate loans.
- Strong understanding of real estate loan documentation, title, appraisals, insurance, closing requirements, and the loan lifecycle.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple active loans simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM and loan origination system (LOS) tools, including processing loan files and pricing opportunities through institutional capital partners' portals.
- Comfortable working directly with borrowers and brokers and coordinating with title companies, attorneys, appraisers, and insurers.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Experience with investor or business-purpose real estate loans.
- Ability to perform basic underwriting, including LTV/LTC calculations and reviewing borrower financials and property information.
