Commercial Operations Specialist (Korean Speaker)

Location: Singapore

About the Role

World Fuel is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Support II, Commercial Operations professional to support our Korea Customer Team within our global Marine business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoys working at the intersection of customer support, commercial operations, and deal execution. You will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operational activities of the business, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

As part of a global organization, you will collaborate with colleagues and customers across multiple time zones while contributing to the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

What You'll Do

Commercial & Operational Support

• Support the Korea Customer Team with day-to-day operational and administrative activities.
• Monitor and communicate physical delivery status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the flow of pricing, market, and port information across the business.
• Assist with deal administration and execution to support commercial activities.

Contract & Documentation Management

• Prepare and issue sales confirmations and related commercial documentation.
• Assist with contract administration and ensure accurate processing of customer transactions.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records, documentation, and filing systems.
• Ensure all transaction-related documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal standards.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Extract and compile operational and performance data for reporting and analysis.
• Support reporting activities by preparing Excel-based reports and performance statistics.
• Assist with tracking operational metrics and supporting continuous process improvements.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as a key point of coordination for Korean-speaking customers and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships with commercial, operations, and administration teams.
• Communicate effectively in a multicultural and global business environment.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer support, commercial support, operations, or administrative role.
• Experience within the marine, shipping, trading, energy, or oil industry is preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting commercial teams, sales operations, or contract administration activities is highly advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken, to support Korean-speaking customers and stakeholders.
• Additional proficiency in Chinese or Japanese is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and globally distributed team environment.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic business that may occasionally require support outside of regular business hours.
