Our Business Bank, launched in 2025, brings that same approach to businesses and corporates, with a proposition focused on deposits, treasury, foreign exchange and day-to-day banking rather than lending.

We’re now looking for experienced bankers who can help us grow it. This is an opportunity to create and develop your own relationships, build a high-quality portfolio and have a genuine say in how a newer Business Bank develops

The difference you'll make

You’ll create the opportunities that grow our Business Bank.

You’ll identify businesses that fit our proposition, open doors through your own network and build relationships with senior decision-makers. From the first conversation through to onboarding and beyond, you’ll take personal ownership of developing the opportunity and the relationship. Over time, you'll build a focused portfolio of around 50 client relationships, with an indicative full-year deposit target of around £25m.

Working closely with colleagues across Business, Private and Racing Banking, you'll help clients make the most of their deposits, treasury, foreign exchange and day-to-day banking. You'll also help shape a growing business, sharing market insight and contributing ideas as the proposition develops.

You won’t be doing that alone. You’ll have support from Associate and Assistant Business Bankers, including with onboarding, due diligence, administration and ongoing client service, giving you more time to develop your market, originate opportunities and lead senior client relationships.

The experience that will help you thrive

You'll be an experienced business, commercial or corporate banker with a strong record of winning new relationships and growing them sustainably.

You may come from a role that combines lending and treasury, but your strength will be finding and winning treasury and deposit business. You'll understand how businesses manage their cash and liquidity and be comfortable discussing deposits, treasury and day-to-day banking with senior decision-makers.

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who earns trust, takes ownership and enjoys creating opportunities rather than inheriting them. You'll bring sound judgement, strong technical knowledge and a thoughtful, personal approach to client service.
