Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate with both cloud and traditional infrastructure. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and technical requirements is a key part of the daily workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and technical skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture design and testing methodologies.
- Ability to create and validate proof of architecture focusing on security and performance.
- Familiarity with integrating cloud and non-cloud systems in complex environments.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in cloud platforms.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
