- Design and execute deployment strategies on AWS, while extending support to on-premises container platforms
- Partner directly with trading desks, developers, and researchers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, delivering quickly without unnecessary bureaucracy
- Drive CI/CD adoption, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices to streamline software delivery across both cloud and on-prem estates.
- Engineer and maintain network, security, and monitoring solutions that ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of production trading systems.
- Support containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes), including cluster management and performance tuning, on both AWS and emerging on-prem platforms.
- Evaluate and introduce new tooling to improve DevOps efficiency, remaining pragmatic and outcome-focused.
- Act as a business-oriented liaison between engineering and business teams, facilitating clear communication, managing demanding stakeholders, and ensuring infrastructure decisions align with commercial goals.
- Thrive in ambiguous environments where roadmaps are driven by business need; you will help define the architecture even when specs are still evolving.
Your Present Skillset
