To manage claims from notification through to finalisation, provide administrative support to Claims Assessors, and ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant claims processing while delivering excellent customer service

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and process claims within agreed turnaround times.
• Support Claims Assessors with claim investigations, validation, and documentation.
• Review claim information, maintain accurate records, and escalate complex or suspicious claims where necessary.
• Deliver professional customer service by responding to queries and providing claim updates.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, governance standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Process claims accurately in line with quality, productivity, and service standards.
• Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency, and cost-effective practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively within the team and support knowledge sharing.
• Take ownership of ongoing learning and development to enhance performance and maintain industry knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4).
• Relevant certificate in Insurance, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field will be advantageous.

Minimum Experience

• 1-2 years' experience in claims administration, insurance administration, customer service, or a similar administrative environment.

Knowledge Requirements

• Claims administration processes and procedures.
• Customer service principles and practices.
• Insurance products and policy interpretation.
• Regulatory, legislative, and compliance requirements.
• Claims management systems and workflows.
• Document verification and validation processes.
