Redwood Strategy Group is searching for multiple Civilian Payroll Contractor Support to support the U.S. Army’s Financial Improvement (AFI) Program.
The Civilian Payroll Contractor provides analytical, audit, and operational support to the Army’s Financial Improvement (AFI) initiatives related to civilian payroll. This role supports audit remediation, internal controls testing, and payroll data analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable Army and Federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to perform data analysis and reconcile information from multiple sources.
- Ability to review payroll transactions and test results for completeness and accuracy.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify control gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data.
Communication Skills
- Ability to draft clear, concise, and professional emails to government stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare meeting minutes, briefing materials, and status reports.
Organizational Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to meet strict last-minute deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong documentation and file management practices.
Experience
Systems Experience
Familiar with or ability to quickly understand systems such as:
- SharePoint
- AFACTS (Audit Findings and Corrective Tracking System)
- DCPDS
- DCPS
- ATAAPS
- GFEBS

Experience supporting financial statement audits or audit remediation efforts is highly preferred.
