THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

SCIB – GLOBAL MARKETS / CREDIT TRADING / STRUCTURED CREDIT TRADING  is looking for a VICE-PRESIDENT based out of MADRID OR LONDON.

We are offering a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing global trading franchise with an established track record in credit and hybrid markets.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Pricing, executing and hedging structured credit and hybrids transactions, including repacks and credit linked notes
• Risk managing dynamically our trading positions
• Training junior resources on the trading team
• Maintaining, improving and creating trading monitoring tools
• Contributing to new product development initiatives in partnership with Quants, Structurers and Support/Control functions

Professional Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Credit, Hybrids, Structured Rates or XVA trading/structuring/quant roles (Required)

Education

• Bachelor/Master´s/PhD in Sciences (Maths, Physics, Computer Science) or in Economics/Statistics (Required)

Languages 

• Working language is English (Required)
• Spanish or another European language are a plus (Preferred)

Hard Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills (Required)
• Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools is a plus (Preferred)

Soft Skills

• Team player (Required)
• Entrepreneurial, delivery-oriented mindset (Required)
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment (Required)
