職務内容

Lead technical development of solid materials from chemistry perspectiveWork as technical leader for both existing and new solid material manufacturing processes. This role covers operations including raw material analysis, purification, filling, and canister-related tasks (such as decontamination, cleaning, and residue/waste management).Investigation of synthesis and purification methods for chemicals (batches of 10 kg or less)Based on chemical and physical properties of the target chemicals, he/she will evaluate appropriate synthesis and purification methods, select right equipment, and prepare implementation plans. When utilizing new equipment or processes, he/she will contribute to safety assessments with the support of supervisors, colleagues from other departments, and suppliers. He/she will operate equipment safely and contribute to improvement initiatives from both technical and economic perspectives.Leading activities to address issues arising at factories and customer sitesLeverage his/her knowledge and experience to actively participate in initiatives aimed at making improvements and resolving issues. Ideally, with the support of supervisor and members of other departments, he/she should explain matters to customers and equipment manufacturers, thereby contributing to problem resolution and increased customer satisfaction.Provision of small-volume chemicals and evaluation samples not routinely produced by the operations teamBased on requests from customers or equipment manufacturers, liquid or solid materials are filled (or decon) into containers within a glovebox. To prepare for future reshipment of these materials, any issues encountered (or potential issues identified) during the process are documented so that this knowledge can be utilized during subsequent shipments. When transferring operations to a factory, the operations team develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure safety and practicality, and manages the transfer, including the actual work processes, with the support of supervisors.Consultation on ChemistryAs a labo Specialist, he/she sincerely address chemistry-related inquiries and consultations from members of other departments.

応募資格

Master and/or Bachelor in Engineering, R&D, etc.
1-3+ years of experience

Capable of managing medium scale development projects with strong attention to technical details, keeping in mind long term cost, productivity, operability and reliability.

Effective communication and alignment with diverse internal and external stakeholders for implementation of projects (PM, ENG, QUAL…), and ability to integrate their feedbacks and make appropriate tradeoffs. Ability to communicate and justify such tradeoffs..

Ability to lead projects in a complex and potentially quickly shifting environment. Ability to adjust course quickly and communicate to align on such changes..

Lead safety actions including PHAs.

Connects the team to outside expertise as needed (within or outside ALAM and AL) for speed and efficiency of the project.
