About the location:

Palau is a tiny island nation in the Pacific ocean with a population of 18,000. Located between the Philippines and Indonesia and considered one of the Seven Underwater Wonders of the World, Palau is as remarkable as it is remote, welcoming visitors to 500,000 square kilometers of protected marine territory, 340 emerald isles, and bucket-list dive, snorkel, surf and island adventures. Underwater caves and blue holes, ancient monoliths, dense jungle surrounds and 4,000 years of culture await. Four Seasons Explorer is 11-cabin a cruising resort and has been offering unrivalled experiences under water and on land in Palau since October 2023. Construction on a 50 villa resort on an island near the capital Koror is about to begin.

The Palauan work permit will be provided by the resort if required.

What you will do:

• Prepare food hygienically, efficiently, and according to standard recipes, ensuring quality in taste, presentation, and portion.
• Assist in kitchen management and supervision, developing recipes and daily specials.
• Work across all kitchen areas as needed, upholding hotel conduct, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Support with food requisitions, checking product quality at delivery, and maintaining organized workstations.
• Address food server requests to meet guest preferences.
• Where applicable, acts as shift leader; leads and motivates colleagues by example and promote teamwork.
• Perform any additional duties as required.

What you bring:

• 2–5 years of experience in 5-star hotels or resorts, with a solid foundation in hospitality.
• Strong skills in English, math, and psychometric analysis, ensuring effective communication and attention to detail.
• Motivation for growth and development, with proven aptitude and a readiness for career advancement.
• Preferred background in Hospitality or Culinary education, enhancing both technical skills and industry knowledge.
