As a Caribbean Tax - Associate, you will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As an Associate, you will develop your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work, building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will engage in research, participate in project tasks, and develop basic skills and knowledge to support senior staff in delivering quality tax services.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will take ownership of your development while applying a learning mindset to deliver quality work. Within our Tax practice, you will appreciate diverse perspectives and actively engage in building commercial awareness to drive benefits for clients. This position provides a unique opportunity to grow your knowledge in tax services while collaborating with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment. You will analyze tax-related data to inform decision-making and maintain a proactive approach, contributing to tax compliance projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Preparing tax documents and filing accurate tax returns to meet compliance requirements
- Conducting tax research to provide informed guidance on complex tax regulations
- Analyzing financial data to validate clients' adherence to tax laws and regulations
- Collaborating with team members to enhance tax compliance processes and strategies
- Engaging in regulatory compliance consulting to minimize risks of non-compliance
- Supporting senior staff in delivering quality tax services and client engagements
- Participating in dynamic training sessions to grow technical and professional skills
- Building commercial awareness to drive benefits for clients in a fast-paced environment

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- At least 1.2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
