At BAYADA you'll work one-on-one in home and community settings as a Companion and Mentor as a part-time Special Needs Caregiver for Adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities to help them reach their full potential! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who has ever worked as an Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional, Teacher/ Teaching Assistant or anyone who loves caring and supporting others.
BAYADA is urgently hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers throughout Lancaster County including:
- Lancaster
- Manheim
- Elizabethtown
- Landisville
- Mountville
- Willow Street
- New Providence
- Leola
- New Holland
- Ephrata
- And towns throughout Lancaster County, PA!

Job Responsibilities for Caregiver - Special Needs:
- You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
- You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
- You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- You will participate in community integration activities
Qualifications for Caregiver - Special Needs:
- One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant is highly preferred but not required
