Position Purpose
 
Manage the purchasing process for materials, components, services, and supplies required by the operation, ensuring availability, competitive cost, quality, and on-time delivery through effective supplier management and negotiation.
 
The Buyer will be responsible for maintaining supply continuity and supporting cost reduction, supplier performance, inventory optimization, and customer service objectives, aligned with Plant 1 business needs.

Key Responsibilities
 
1. Purchasing Management
 
* Execute the purchasing process for assigned materials, components.
* Create and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs)
* Review requirements and delivery dates based on production needs.
* Ensure timely material availability to prevent operational disruptions.
* Monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments.

Required Profile

 Education
 *Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, preferably:
* Industrial Engineering
* Business Administration
* International Trade
* Supply Chain Management
* International Business

 Experience
 *2–4 years of experience** in:
 * Purchasing / Procurement
* Supply Chain
* Materials Planning
* Supplier Management
 
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
 
 Technical Knowledge 
* Purchasing / Procurement processes.
* Supplier negotiation.
* Quotation analysis.
* Supply Chain principles.
* Inventory management.
* Cost analysis.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel.
* ERP / MRP systems* Expertise in SAP *
* Supplier performance metrics.
* Manufacturing processes.
* Intermediate to advanced English, particularly for communication with suppliers and global teams.
