This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Issue and manage subcontracting POs for LVC, LPT, and BPT trolley assemblies in line with manufacturing plans and production requirements.
• Ensure timely supply of raw materials and components to subcontractors and monitor receipt of completed assemblies as per agreed schedules.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and subcontractors, while monitoring performance on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure seamless execution of subcontracting activities and meet customer delivery commitments.
• Track LVC assemblies throughout the subcontracting cycle, from material dispatch to receipt of finished assemblies, and proactively resolve delivery or production bottlenecks.
• Monitor subcontracting inventory, material reconciliation, and job-work stock to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective inventory control.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (should be full-time)
• Procurement, Sourcing, and Subcontracting operations, preferably in AIS/GIS/RMU, Switchgear Manufacturing, Electrical Assemblies, Panel Components, LVC, LPT, and BPT Trolleys.
• Manage and issue Subcontracting POs for LVC, LPT, and BPT trolley assemblies in line with manufacturing plans and production requirements.
• Ensure timely supply of raw materials and components to subcontractors and monitor the receipt of completed assemblies as per agreed schedules.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, subcontracting inventory, material reconciliation, and job-work stock, ensuring quality, delivery, cost competitiveness, and compliance.
