The Buyer, 3P Procurement is responsible for leading end-to-end procurement execution and driving supplier performance across third-party suppliers. This role ensures supply continuity, improves on-time delivery (OTD), mitigates risks, and optimizes lead time and cost through strong cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

This position reports to the 3P Procurement Manager and is part of the Supply Chain / Procurement team located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead end-to-end purchase order execution and lifecycle management for 3P materials, ensuring timely confirmations and delivery alignment
• Own supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and drive recovery actions, improvement plans, and performance reviews
• Proactively identify and manage supply risks (lead time, shortages, capacity, quality), driving structured problem-solving and resolution
• Support cost and lead time optimization through RFQ participation, commercial awareness, and collaboration with sourcing teams
• Act as a key interface between Supply Planning, Sourcing, Quality, and Suppliers to drive execution excellence and continuous improvement

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Reasonable experience in procurement, supply planning, or supply chain operations with third-party (3P) suppliers
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance and drive On-Time Delivery (OTD) improvements
• Experience in supply risk management, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Strong experience working cross-functionally with planning, sourcing, and quality teams in a global environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Cost optimization, RFQ processes, and supplier negotiations support
• Continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., DBS, Lean, Kaizen)
