We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager – OEM, Charging & Automotive to drive business growth, strategic partnerships, and revenue opportunities within the automotive and electric mobility ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, OEM business development, automotive solutions, and EV charging, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and convert complex opportunities into sustainable business partnerships.
This role requires a commercially driven professional who understands the automotive industry, can engage with OEM stakeholders, and is comfortable managing the complete business development lifecycle from market identification and lead generation to negotiation, closure, and account growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies targeting automotive OEMs and EV ecosystem players.
- Identify new business opportunities across automotive, electric mobility, EV charging, fleet, and related technology segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, automotive manufacturers, fleet operators, charging companies, technology partners, and other strategic accounts.
- Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, industry events, referrals, and targeted outbound sales.
- Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiations, closure, and account expansion.
- Understand customer requirements and work with technical, product, and operations teams to develop appropriate commercial and solution proposals.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, commercial documents, and business cases for prospective customers.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract closure while protecting business objectives and margins.
- Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs and ecosystem participants to create new revenue channels.
- Track sales pipelines, forecasts, conversion rates, revenue targets, and account performance.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews, and market visits as required.
- Monitor automotive, EV, and charging-market developments to identify emerging customer needs and competitive opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and execution of new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and sales reports.
- Develop long-term account strategies to increase customer engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Provide regular market intelligence, competitor insights, and business-development updates to leadership.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, enterprise sales, or strategic account management.
- Proven experience working with automotive OEMs or large enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of the automotive and electric mobility ecosystem, particularly EV charging and related solutions.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and converting complex B2B opportunities.
- Strong experience managing the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution discussions, proposals, negotiation, and closure.
- Established network or experience engaging with OEMs, automotive companies, fleet operators, charging infrastructure providers, or EV ecosystem partners.
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to build business cases and identify revenue opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-management, communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong market-development mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and build territories from the ground up.
- Experience working with CRM systems, sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to sales planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, product, operations, and leadership teams.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong interest in automotive technology, EVs, charging infrastructure, and the evolving electric-mobility ecosystem.
