Main Responsibilities:

Follow up, analysis and clear explanations and comments regarding monthly actual results, Quarterly forecasts and yearly targets 

Key performance driver evaluation and monitoring

Preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals 

Support key business decision with fact based analysis and simulation, Puts the financial perspective on operational issues

New products evaluation, Standard costing, Life cycle management

Driving improvements in monthly reporting, Periodic forecast preparations, performing financial analysis of outcome and is part of action plan.

Consolidation and timely reporting of actual, forecast and target results in Onestream

Driving Performance improvement, Productwise profitablity & GBR reporting

Driving Net Working Capital efficiency (improving DIP, Obsc. Slow moving etc.)

Ensuring internal finance control and processes are maintained and followed in accordance with the statutory practices

Validation of various Savings

Conduct and communicate financial analysis and reporting with relevant stakeholders to increase awareness leading to relevant actions and comments (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc) 

Understand and demonstrate the attributes as defined in the Sandvik Leadership model

Contingency measures to mitigate risks/inflation

Agile way of working

Assign and maintain cost centers, cost efficiency analysis

Country Finance Statutory, Internal & Group Audits

• Ensuring timely submission of data and Analysis for Group Audit, Hard close
• Support in completion of Statutory Audit by data submission and analysis
• Responsible for Cost Audit Compliances
• Support to Direct Tax in adhering Transfer Pricing Compliances
• Support to Indirect Tax in adhering GST Compliances
• Driving improvements related to internal Audit observations

Plant Engineering, Admin & Infra, Site IR

• Support in Expense Budgeting, quarterly forecast
• Monitoring of Actual expense Vs. Budget
• Set Process for Cost allocation across all functions and plants
• Monthly closing and reporting in BPC
• Preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals

Govt. Audits

• Data submission and reconciliation for various Audits performed by Govt. Authorities (VAT, GST, EOU etc.)
• NSSO Data submission

Activities related to Operational Finance to be done in coordination with Country Finance

• Coordination between Business and Country finance for issues related to Supplier payments and open advances, bill booking, any other operational issues related to AR etc.
• Validating and monitoring various cost allocations
• Conducting Physical verification of Fixed Assets (once in a year) and stock take (twice in a year)
• Support in operational Finance (reconciliation of GIT, ICM, clearing accounts, GRIR etc.)

Experience and required competencies:

• 20+ years of experience
• Education: CMA / CA / CIMA / CPA / MBA (Finance)
