Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Enterprise Risk – IT Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Continuity Management (BCM) Senior Analyst to support and help mature the enterprise BCM program.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, governance, and continual improvement of the Business Continuity Management Program, including Technology Recovery, Business Continuity, and Vendor Continuity across TFS. The BCM Senior Analyst will partner closely with Business Recovery Plan owners, Technology Recovery Plan owners, and key stakeholders to strengthen program effectiveness, ensure compliance with policy and standards, and drive operational resilience across the enterprise.  The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration across internal departments as well as external vendors, contractors, suppliers, and affiliates. Because the role includes technical elements, the candidate should also bring a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and recovery functions.

Reporting to the Business Continuity Manager, Enterprise Risk – IT, the person in this role will support the Enterprise Risk – IT Department's objective to monitor and report BCM program performance and metrics to senior leadership.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of the company’s Business Continuity Management Program, including Business Continuity, Technology Recovery, and Vendor Continuity
• Provide second-line oversight and challenge to ensure BCM plans are effective, current, and aligned to policy, controls, and standards
• Develop, maintain, review, and enhance BCM policies, procedures, and program documentation
• Prepare and deliver periodic BCM reporting and metrics for senior management
• Partner with business, technology, and third-party stakeholders to review, update, test, and approve Technology Recovery, Business Continuity, and Vendor Continuity Plans

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Business, Safety, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business continuity, operational resilience, risk management, disaster recovery, or a related discipline.
• Strong ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Added bonus if you have

• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Business Continuity Manager (CBCM), or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance platforms such as Archer eGRC.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud knowledge.
• Experience in financial services, preferably auto finance.
• Experience developing process maps and documenting control processes.
• Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
