Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join BP Business Solutions India Private Limited. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to optimize business processes and support strategic decision-making across various commercial functions.
Responsibilities**
* Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Perform data cleansing and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity for reporting and analysis.
* Collaborate with business units to understand data domain knowledge and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
* Support data integration efforts, ensuring seamless flow of information across different systems.
* Implement and maintain robust data management practices, adhering to data governance policies.
* Utilize data manipulation techniques to prepare datasets for various analytical models and reports.
* Identify and implement efficient data sourcing strategies to acquire relevant information.
* Contribute to the development and execution of data strategy and governance frameworks.
* Design and create compelling data visualizations and interpret complex data for diverse audiences.
* Ensure all data-related activities adhere to digital security guidelines and compliance standards.
* Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to support data warehousing and reporting initiatives.
* Participate in group problem-solving sessions to address complex business challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
Qualifications**
* Demonstrated commercial acumen with a solid understanding of business operations and financial principles.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Proven expertise in various data analysis techniques and methodologies.
* Proficiency in data cleansing and transformation tools and techniques.
* Solid understanding of different data domains and their relevance to business operations.
* Experience with data integration concepts and tools.
* Strong background in data management principles and best practices.
* Advanced skills in data manipulation using relevant software and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
* Experience with data sourcing strategies and tools.
* Familiarity with data strategy and governance frameworks.
* Expertise in data visualization and interpretation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Knowledge of digital security principles and data privacy regulations.
* Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
* Strong ability to collaborate effectively in group problem-solving environments.
