Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Data Analyst to lead data analysis efforts for a high-impact data migration program within the insurance domain. This role demands deep expertise in Guidewire and PMT data models, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the analysis of complex source system data to identify anomalies, gaps, and data quality issues.
Partner with source system SMEs and business stakeholders to understand data semantics, business rules, and transformation requirements.
Define and document end-to-end source-to-target data mappings, including cleansing, enrichment, and transformation logic.
Provide strategic input into data migration architecture and tooling decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee the development and execution of data profiling, validation, and reconciliation processes.
Act as a data quality champion, driving standards and best practices across the migration team.
Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of data logic.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performing data migration team.
Prepare and present data insights, mapping decisions, and issue resolutions to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years in data migration projects.
Strong domain expertise in insurance, with hands-on experience in Guidewire and PMT data models.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, data profiling tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Proven experience in data cleansing, transformation, and mapping in large-scale enterprise environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive consensus on complex data issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).
Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
