About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Coordinator. This role is responsible for standards and controls in the business, ensuring effective design, assessment, monitoring, and execution through establishment of protocols, assessment, risk mitigation, oversight, reporting, and self-assurance activities.

In this role, you will:

• Support policy and regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, or control efforts on behalf of the business; proactively seek ways to improve processes and offer ideas for own work and work group
• Perform moderately complex administrative, transactional, monitoring, reporting, and coordination tasks
• Receive direction from supervisor or others acting in a lead capacity and escalate non-routine questions
• Interact with immediate team and colleagues on a variety of information needs

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of business controls, procedures, compliance, or risk support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:  work experience, training, military experience, education

• Completed at least two (2) years of college education.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Ability to effectively partner with stakeholders across various business channels
• Ability to provide timely, in-the-moment feedback
• Experience in trust operations, banking operations, wealth and investment management, fiduciary services, or a related financial services environment.
• Knowledge of money movement processes, account maintenance, securities trading, and operational controls within the financial industry.
• Experience performing dual-control or quality review functions involving transactions, approvals, and risk mitigation.
• Able to multi-task

Job Expectations:

• Amenable to work on a night shift schedule, observe U.S. holidays, support different US time zones, and work in an onsite setup (5NEO).
• Amenable to working overtime as needed
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Responsible for completing assigned tasks within the bank's established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• This is a new process being set up which will allow for possible future growth.
