Job Summary

A Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a box truck to transport and deliver goods to customers, businesses, and designated locations. Services may include deliveries inside customers' homes and range from dropping at the front door to white glove service with room of choice and assembly of product. The driver loads and unloads cargo, completes required delivery documentation, and provides professional customer service.

• Pay : $25.00 per hour

*The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Straight Truck
• Load and unload freight using liftgate and pallet jack when needed
• Handling of large appliances (Refrigerator, Washer/Dryer, Oven, etc)
• Installation of large appliances (Refrigerator, Washer/Dryer, Oven, etc)
• Use of installation tools
• Customer communication and top tier service
• Strong communication with team leaders and managers

Qualifications & Skills

· Valid driver's license (REAL ID) and acceptable driving record required.

· Previous box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.

· Ability to read maps, use navigation tools, and maintain general geographic awareness.

· Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and operational records.

· Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when required.

· Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

· Must be able to pass Federal background checks for access to Military and Gov’t facilities.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent entering and exiting of the vehicle, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must be able to lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and safely load, unload, and secure freight.

Safety Expectations

Employees are expected to comply with all company safety policies, applicable DOT requirements, OSHA standards, TSA requirements where applicable, and customer-site safety rules. Employees must immediately report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment damage, cargo damage, and regulatory concerns.
