We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Billing Associate to manage customer billing, resolve inquiries, and support billing operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable making independent decisions while navigating complex billing systems.
What You'll Do
- Manage customer billing, invoicing, and new account setup.
- Review contracts to ensure accurate billing.
- Research billing discrepancies, resolve customer inquiries, and process credits.
- Respond to billing and finance requests through Zendesk or similar platforms.
- Prepare monthly billing reports using Excel and AI tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and efficiency.
- Support special projects and annual audits as needed.
- 3+ years of billing or related experience.
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
- Ability to interpret contracts and manage complex billing requirements.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or with a team.
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools in daily workflows.
- SaaS or subscription-based billing experience.
- NetSuite experience highly preferred, or familiarity with similar platforms such as Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Zuora, or Chargebee.
- Experience with Salesforce and Zendesk.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Technical support experience may be considered, particularly with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and software navigation skills.

We offer a compensation range at $45,000 to $55,000 USD / year, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and potential to grow within the team. The salary range listed for this role reflects our commitment to pay transparency and is based on market data, internal equity, and the scope of responsibilities. compensation will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, and the specific team or product area they support.We regularly review compensation across the company to ensure fairness and consistency.
