What’s on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Bid Manager - Water with a high level of commercial and engineering acumen to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. Based in Victoria but with potential to manage bids across multiple regions, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further. In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Assisting with development of Market Sounding responses including preparation of associated collateral information

• Preparing information briefing packs to support internal approvals processes

• Bid management from beginning to end in the project pursuit process from the EOI phase through to tendering, contract award and handover to the delivery team

• Proactively assisting with developing and implementing the win strategy for each pursuit opportunity through working closely with Pre-contracts, Estimating and Submission teams

• Providing input to identifying potential partnering opportunities, including evaluation, comparison and recommendation based on multi-criteria assessment

• Maintaining records of pursuits, engagements, future opportunities etc

• Working with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Business Development Manager, to identify and create opportunities that will sustain and progressively grow our business.

How you'll connect to the role:

• Preferably a relevant degree in construction management, engineering or a related discipline

• 5 years (or greater) bid management experience, ideally with a tier 1 contractor

• A demonstrated track record in managing the complete tender process once leads are converted to pursuit opportunities

• Comprehensive understanding of capital works delivery in the utilities/infrastructure sector
