WORK YOU’LL DO

As a member of our delivery team, the Business Intelligence (BI) and Visualization Specialist is responsible for the design, development, implementation, management and support of advanced BI reporting through different data visualization tools and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will be required to gather, document, and approve business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects, as well as use BI tools to develop reporting solutions and dashboards to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience as a BI Specialist, you will design, develop and implement ETL processes to transform disparate source data into dedicated reporting data marts.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Business analysis to gather required BI system requirements

• Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive reporting data mart and dashboard design 

• Develop user friendly dashboards and be flexible in leveraging various data visualization tools

• Use ETL tools to load data store(s)/ data mart(s)

• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

• Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

Basic Qualifications:

• B.Sc. from Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics

• Hands-on experience with Visualization tools (either MS Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense).

• Experience with SQL and RDBMS systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) for creating data marts

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

• Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. from Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics

• Ability to think creatively to solve real world business problems

• Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment

• Ability to work as a team player

• Ability to perform well under pressure and with defined timelines and milestones

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
