What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Beauty Therapist will work as a member of our Hibiscus Spa team, performing various Spa services depending on their specialty. These services will be performed at the highest level and may include: massages, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, hair removal etc. The Beauty Therapist will report directly to the Spa Supervisor/Manager.

Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Removing unwanted hair from the face or body using hot wax, threading, electrolysis or other techniques.
• Must be able to perform all types of massages including; Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone and Reflexology etc.
• Performing manicures and pedicures, including shaping and painting nails.
• Performing facials and body skin treatments including cleansing, toning, exfoliating, massaging and applying masks.
• Performing Spa services in a safe and professional manner in accordance to both the Spa Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Maintain ample inventory of products and equipment necessary to perform all Spa services and to keep the Spa Supervisor/Manager informed of any low stock as required.
• Keep a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility.
• Constantly maintain an up to date knowledge of both theoretical and practical information pertaining to the therapist position and be aware of market trends.
• Ability to answer all questions related to both the products and services offered within the Spa facility.
• Ensure punctuality in both arriving for work and commencing guest appointments throughout the day at all times.
• Must be enthusiastic, honest, efficient and professional in appearance.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Other duties may be assigned as business need demands.

What are we looking for?

• Proof of Beauty therapy training/qualification required.
• A current Massage therapy/body treatment license that meets the criteria in order to obtain a license to practice in Grand Cayman will be required.
• Facial, Nail Technician qualification additionally required.
• Minimum 2+ years working experience as Beauty therapist or related field required.
• Hospitality experience additionally required.
• Skin Care Training required.
• Must be qualified in full Anatomy & Physiology of the body.
• Strong guest relations/customer service experience required.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to multitask in demanding environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holiday will be required.
