As an on-call Barista/Fountain Worker at Vdara, you will create exceptional guest experiences through friendly, personalized service. You will primarily support Starbucks, preparing handcrafted beverages and delivering outstanding customer service, while also assisting at Market Café as business needs require. By understanding each guest's unique needs, you will prepare quality food and beverage offerings and create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression long after each visit.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.2518

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.

• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.

• Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.

• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.

• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.

• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.

• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1+ year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to obtain a valid Food Handlers card & Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card.
