What you will have an opportunity to do:

Naples Grande Beach Resort is seeking enthusiastic, personable, and service-oriented Baristas to join our Food & Beverage team.

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and specialty drinks while delivering exceptional guest service consistent with the resort's luxury hospitality standards.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, takes pride in beverage presentation, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for our guests in a welcoming and professional environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso beverages, specialty coffees, teas, and other menu offerings according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Provide warm, genuine, and personalized service to all guests.
• Greet guests promptly, anticipate their needs, and assist with menu selections and recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and available food items.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewing equipment, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Accurately process guest transactions, including cash, credit cards, and applicable room charges.
• Ensure beverages are consistently prepared with attention to quality, temperature, taste, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the coffee station, equipment, and surrounding service areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish coffee beans, syrups, milk, cups, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Respond professionally to guest requests, concerns, and special dietary needs.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning, restocking, and workstation preparation.
• Promote a positive team environment while maintaining the resort's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing techniques, and specialty beverages preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and POS transactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks associated with beverage preparation and service.
