The Opportunity

As a dedicated Bank Garnishment Subpoena Specialist III-Sensitive Profile, you will, within defined guidelines and framework, research and conduct initial review of garnishments, liens/levies, and subpoenas in accordance with bank, investor, and regulatory guidelines while partnering with more senior peers to fulfill subpoena requests.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week out of these regional offices to include: San Antonio, TX or either Tampa locations office. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you’ll do:

• Acquires and applies basic knowledge of industry and internal policies and processes to research and review requests for garnishments, levies, and subpoenas.
• Research member files to determine response to Subpoena's, Criminal and Civil Court Orders, and Grand Jury requests for member related Banking documents.
• Partners with more senior peers to review required documents associated with requests and ensures proper filing of documents with regulatory authorities, courts, and other tribunal.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you’ll have:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
• 1 year of experience in garnishments, liens/levies, or subpoenas in legal operations and/or financial services.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and internal applicable processes and operating systems.

What sets you apart:

• 1 year of financial service experience.
• 1 year of Deposit Operations Consumer Account Specialist experience.
• Working knowledge of estate handling functions, estate terminology and documents to include executor documentation and death documents.
• Working knowledge of IRA experience.

What we offer:

Compensation range: $51,370-$86,680.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
