À propos de ce poste B2B Sales Manager chez Freddies Flowers
Freddie’s Flowers was founded by Freddie Garland in October 2014 with one ambition: to change people’s relationship with flowers. We believe flowers aren’t only for grand occasions, but they make every day special, inspiring creativity and sparking joy.
Our starting point was our direct-to-consumer subscription model, helping us grow a loyal UK following. We launched in Germany in 2020, and then in 2021 we secured significant backing from The Craftory, a like-minded purpose-led global investment house, helping us expand, develop and grow. 2023 saw us start our gifting service – bringing the best of Freddie’s Flowers to everyone who needs it (even last minute!).
From the seed of an idea we continue to flourish; we’re now a B Corp organisation. And our founding mission remains unchanged – to change the world of flowers, and to change the world with flowers.
About the Role
We're looking for a B2B Sales & Innovation Manager to own the full sales pipeline - from first conversation through to long-term account management. The role currently spans two core channels, Care Homes and Corporate Gifting Partners, though you'll also play a key part in identifying and developing new channels as the B2B function grows. You'll split your time roughly evenly across the two existing channels to start, but expect that balance to shift as they mature and as new opportunities emerge.
This is a hands-on role: you'll open doors, run the sales process end-to-end, close deals, and then stay close to the accounts you win to grow them over time. Being a great salesperson and providing excellent customer care matter equally here.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Own
Care Homes
- Build a network within the care home industry, being seen as a trusted leader on using flowers to increase resident wellbeing and happiness
- Build and manage a pipeline of care home groups and operators, identifying decision-makers and the right entry point into each organisation
- Pitch Freddie's Flowers wellbeing and resident-gifting programmes, tailoring the offer to different care providers' needs and budgets
- Run trials with care homes, then convert successful pilots into ongoing contracts
- Manage renewals and expansion within existing care home accounts, becoming the trusted point of contact for these partners
Corporate Gifting Partners
- Generate and pursue new corporate clients - from loyalty programmes and lifestyle brands to companies looking for employee or client gifting solutions
- Own outbound prospecting (networking, events, cold outreach) alongside responding to inbound enquiries
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage the order process from first enquiry through to delivery
- Build long-term relationships with corporate partners, identifying opportunities to grow account value year-on-year
Go-To-Market Support
- Lead on the development of customer journeys, target market definitions, operational processes and marketing or channel ideas for new B2B initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to help prepare for B2B launches
Other
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting using our CRM
- Assist in tracking KPIs and performance metrics for new tests and channels
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- A qualified, well-managed pipeline across all B2B channels, with clear visibility on stage, value, and next steps
- Signed partnerships with a meaningful number of new care home groups and corporate clients
- Strong renewal and growth rates within your existing account base
- Excellent customer satisfaction scores from across your accounts
- A repeatable, documented sales process for each channel that could support a growing team
Requirements
We care more about who you are than a perfect match on paper. Above all, you're a proactive self-starter, and genuinely committed to delivering excellent customer service - the rest we can help you build
- Proactive self starter - you show initiative, ask good questions, dig into what a partner actually needs, and enjoy learning new areas of the business
- Genuinely committed to excellent customer service - you care as much about how a partner feels after the deal as you do about winning it
- Some experience in a B2B sales or account management role, ideally owning a pipeline from prospecting through to account management - but we're more interested in your approach than your experience
- Comfortable working across two different buyer types - you can flex your pitch from a care home operations manager to a corporate procurement lead
- Strong commercial instincts: confident negotiating terms, forecasting pipeline, and managing towards revenue targets
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the patience for longer or more sensitive sales cycles (particularly in care homes)
- Enthusiasm for building something from the ground up in a growing part of the business
- Enjoys working autonomously, with the freedom to shape your own B2B sales strategy
Benefits
- Option to buy extra holiday days
- Discounted flowers for friends/family
- WFH (where applicable)
- Learning and Development Support
- Cycle to work scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Discounted gym membership
- Cash plan with Medicash
- Health and wellbeing sessions with The Mind Clinic
- Team socials and events
