Job Summary

The Account Relationship Manager at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding their financial needs, and cross-selling suitable banking products and services to achieve revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing corporate clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all banking needs.
* Proactively identify and acquire new corporate clients, contributing to the growth of the bank's client portfolio.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis of client businesses to identify their banking requirements and propose appropriate solutions (e.g., loans, trade finance, cash management, treasury products).
* Prepare and present credit proposals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor client portfolio performance, including credit quality and profitability, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with product specialists and other internal departments to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to clients.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the Corporate Banking division.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
* Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate banking relationship management, with a proven track record of acquiring and managing corporate clients.
* Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, including credit facilities, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Results-oriented with a strong sales drive and ability to meet targets.
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
