As an Automation, API and Integration Testing Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving software and product innovation, focusing on quality engineering to enhance user experience and optimize performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will leverage your technical skills and creative thinking to deliver innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will utilize a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will contribute to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive quality assurance testing to identify and resolve software defects
- Implementing quality engineering methodologies to optimize software performance and enhance user experience
- Utilizing functional and compatibility testing techniques to validate software integration and functionality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test protocols and cases
- Managing defect reporting and tracking to facilitate timely resolution and continuous improvement
- Leveraging analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
- Applying quality assurance process design and evaluation to maintain professional and technical standards
- Engaging in post go-live support to address any emerging issues and validate seamless software operation
- Embracing change and learning agility to adapt to evolving client needs and technological advancements
- Building meaningful client connections to understand and anticipate their requirements and deliver quality solutions

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics
- Utilizing Selenium for browser automation and software testing
- Demonstrating skills in quality assurance process design and evaluation
- Navigating complex client relationships with effective communication
- Embracing change and intellectual curiosity in dynamic environments
- Developing insights through analytical thinking and data interpretation
- Managing post go-live support and reliability validation

Prior hands-on experience validating software application is a must 

End-to-end scenario validation (inbound/outbound flows, receipts, timeouts, second-round routing/rollover) 

Negative and manual-intervention paths (approval/repair/reconciliation, compliance timeouts, accounting retries/compensations) 

Performance/SLA testing for instant payments; multi-scheme regression coverage 

Strong understanding of API testing tools with a strong preference for Cucumber 

Experience using SOAP UI/SmartBear or Postman 

Experience testing MQ (Message Queues) 

Detail oriented with strong communication skill to work with BAs, architects and developers 

Experience working with defect tracking tools with preference given to Jira
