Position : Operations Manager 

Salary : AU $1,000 - 1,200 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Virtual Assistant to support an Australian construction business with estimating, administration, supplier coordination, and project support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare construction estimates, quotes, and quantity take-offs.
• Review drawings, plans, and project specifications.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Maintain estimating spreadsheets and project documentation.
• Assist with tenders, variations, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Handle general administrative tasks, emails, scheduling, and data entry.

Requirements

• Experience in Australian construction estimating or administration preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand building materials/trades.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, CostX, Buildxact, Groundplan, or similar is a plus.
