Role Purpose 

As Associate, NOC Relations and Planning, Americas, you will help a portfolio of National Olympic Committees prepare for and experience the Games. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will support service-level planning, client communications, and cross-functional coordination so each committee's needs are understood and represented across LA28. You will build trusted relationships, keep clients informed, and help deliver pre-Games readiness and Games-time operations. It is a role for an organized, culturally aware relationship-builder who wants to serve an international community and grow within a collaborative, inclusive team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Cultivate trusted, transparent relationships with a portfolio of 15–25 National Olympic Committees. 

• Manage client correspondence, escalation pathways, and the review and distribution of key documents, policies, and informational resources. 

• Support service-level planning with 8–10 functional areas, mapping the athlete journey from arrival to departure. 

• Maintain status-tracking and reporting tools, and help mitigate identified gaps against NCS and functional-area milestones. 

• Deliver pre-Games readiness and Games-time operations, including Chefs de Mission Seminars and NCS Service Center support. 

Required Competencies 

• 3+ years of relevant work experience, with authorization to lawfully work in the United States for the full duration of the role. 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, ideally paired with international, cultural, or sport-industry exposure. 

• Multilingual strength: English as the primary working language, with fluent written and spoken Spanish or another language highly preferred. 

• Experience with Office productivity tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, and with Smartsheet or similar project management and reporting tools. 

• Strong international-relations, client-management, and major-event operations skills across diverse, global stakeholders and LA28 functional areas. 

Valued Experience 

• Direct experience with the adaptive or Paralympic community. 

• Prior Olympic or Paralympic Games experience. 

• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools. 

• Understanding of Olympic and Paralympic structures and protocols. 

• Experience in client services, membership, or account management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions 

• Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office. 

• The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment. 

• The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment. 

• Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods. 

• Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

Compensation 

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,500 - $82,000.
