グローバル企業の調達戦略を、日本市場で実際に機能させる役割に挑戦しませんか？本ポジションは、原材料・包装資材に関する日本市場での調達活動を、グローバルおよびリージョンの Procurement Portfolio Team が策定する戦略に基づいて実行する、Procurement Operations のポジションです。

日本市場は、グローバルの中でも独自性の高い市場です。日本特有の製品、国内製造、国内サプライヤー、そして日本市場ならではのマーケティングニーズが存在するため、海外にいる Portfolio Team だけでは、現地事情を十分に把握しきれない場面があります。

そのため本ポジションでは、Portfolio Team、日本の社内関係部門、国内サプライヤーの間に入り、グローバルおよびリージョンの調達戦略を日本で実行可能な形に落とし込むとともに、日本市場・サプライヤー・事業ニーズに関する情報を Portfolio Team へ伝える橋渡し役を担います。

主な業務内容

• グローバル/リージョンの Procurement Portfolio 戦略に基づく、原材料・包装資材の調達活動の実行

• 国内サプライヤーとの日常的な関係構築、パフォーマンス管理、課題解決、供給安定化

• 価格、契約条件、取引条件、コスト改善に関する交渉の実行およびサポート

• 日本市場、国内サプライヤー、コスト要因に関する情報収集と Portfolio Team へのフィードバック

• Procurement Portfolio Team、日本の社内関係部門、国内サプライヤー間の橋渡し

• Portfolio、品質保証、R&D、サプライチェーン各部門と連携した新規サプライヤーの探索、評価、導入支援

• 供給能力、品質、納期、コスト、供給途絶などのサプライヤーリスクへの対応

• サプライチェーン、R&D、マーケティング、財務、リージョン/グローバル調達チームとの連携

• 新製品開発、日本市場特有の製品ニーズ、サステナビリティ施策のサポート

• グローバル/リージョンの調達戦略が、日本市場の実態に即して効果的に実行されるよう支援

応募要件

• 調達、ソーシング、サプライヤーマネジメント、またはサプライチェーン領域での実務経験3年以上

• 直接材、包装資材、FMCG、化学品、製造業での経験があれば尚可

• サプライヤーマネジメント、交渉、社内外ステークホルダーとの調整力

• コスト要因、サプライヤー課題、市場環境を理解し、実務に落とし込む力

• 実行力、フォローアップ力、細部への注意力、ビジネスインパクトへの意識

• 日本の関係者とリージョン/グローバルチームの間で円滑にコミュニケーションできる力

• 日本語・英語でのビジネスレベルのコミュニケーション力

• クロスファンクショナルまたはグローバルな環境での業務経験

Connect Global Procurement Strategy with Japan Market Execution

Are you ready to grow your procurement career in a role that connects global strategy with local execution? We are looking for an Associate Manager, Procurement Operations to execute procurement activities for raw and packaging materials in Japan, in alignment with global and regional Procurement Portfolio strategies.

This role plays a critical interface between Procurement Portfolio teams, Japan-based business stakeholders, and local suppliers. Japan is a unique market within our global network, with Japan-specific products, local manufacturing needs, and a strong base of domestic suppliers. As a result, successful procurement execution requires not only operational excellence, but also strong local market understanding and cross-cultural communication.

You will help translate global and regional procurement strategies into practical execution in Japan, while providing local supplier, market, and business insights back to Portfolio teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Execute procurement activities for raw and packaging materials in line with global and regional Procurement Portfolio strategies

• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, supplier performance, issue resolution, and supply continuity

• Support commercial negotiations including pricing, contracts, terms, and cost improvement initiatives

• Provide Japan market, supplier, and cost-driver insights to support Portfolio Team decision-making

• Act as a bridge between Procurement Portfolio teams, Japan business stakeholders, and local suppliers

• Support supplier identification, evaluation, qualification, and onboarding in collaboration with Portfolio, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain teams

• Mitigate operational supplier risks including capacity, quality, service, cost, and supply disruption risks

• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and regional/global Procurement teams

• Support new product development, Japan-specific product needs, and sustainability initiatives

• Help ensure that global and regional procurement strategies are implemented effectively in Japan’s unique market environment

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain

• Experience with direct materials, packaging, FMCG, chemical, or manufacturing environments is preferred

• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to understand cost drivers, supplier issues, and local market conditions

• Strong execution capability with attention to follow-through, detail, and business impact

• Ability to communicate effectively across local and regional/global teams

• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills

• Experience working in cross-functional and global environments

• Korean language skills are a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Location: Yokohama, Japan

• Work style: Hybrid work available, up to 2 days work-from-home per week

• Travel: Approximately 10%, mainly within Japan
