Job Description

The Associate Director, GA Service Operations for HR Service Delivery will be responsible for the following key objectives:

• GA Regional Operational Leadership: Lead HR service delivery operations across multiple Greater Asia markets, ensuring consistent execution of core HR processes while balancing regional requirements with global standards, governance requirements, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Service Excellence: Track and enhance service levels, KPIs, and SLAs to deliver prompt, accurate support for employees and HR partners. Review and recommend improvements for KPIs focused on operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization across regions.
• BPO Partnership & Vendor Governance: Act as the interface with external BPO providers, ensuring strong governance, transparency, and performance management. Hold vendors accountable for service outcomes, proactively address risks, and drive continuous improvement across the outsourced service landscape.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including HR COEs, regional HR leaders, regional business leaders, and external service providers, to ensure service delivery models meet evolving organizational needs.
• Technology Enablement: Partner with HRIS, IT, Finance and other teams to leverage digital tools and platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) for enhanced service delivery.
• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous learning. Lead and develop HR service delivery managers and team members across the region, strengthen organizational capability, and drive employee engagement and a high-performance culture.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to global and local compliance standards, data privacy regulations, internal policies and audit requirements.
• Change Management: Lead regional HR transformation programs, including process redesign, technology adoption, operating model enhancements, and transition activities supporting the GBS strategy.

Educational Qualifications and Previous Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Human Resources or a related field.
• 10 – 15 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, HR service delivery, operations management or HR shared services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing a regional team, collaborating with a global team and working in a matrixed, multinational environment.
• Experience working in shared services and/or outsourced service delivery models, including collaboration with external BPO providers, is a must.
• Experience in GBS or shared services environments strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation or process improvement initiatives.

Professional Qualifications

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, PMP, PSP, or similar operational excellence frameworks is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of HR systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) and service delivery models.
• Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and governance in service operations.

• Ability to manage complexity and drive results in a fast paced, global environment.  
• High adaptability and capability to lead change in evolving business contexts.
